HEKUPLAST
Over 25 years of expertise in plastics processing

Since its foundation over 25 years ago in 1996, HEKUPLAST has impressed with its experience and know-how in plastics processing and assembly.

Located in the center of Europe, we produce a wide range of plastic parts for our partners in the consumer goods, automotive and household appliances sectors.

We stand for high-quality processing, excellent customer service, reliability and an optimal price-performance ratio.

From the idea to the blank

Our high-tech injection molding machines meet the latest standards and complement mechanical function with technical know-how. We manufacture with a wide variety of plastic materials and are accustomed to responding to even the most demanding wishes of our customers. Based on a sketch/drawing or prototype provided by you, we can realize your ideas and concepts in the shortest possible time.

Our quality standards

Quality and reliability are firmly integrated into our day-to-day work. Through constant and continuous improvement, HEKUPLAST offers its customers the highest quality standards. It is not the size of the order that is important to us, but the satisfaction of our customers.

Our technology - your success

Our modern production hall currently contains a total of 18 state-of-the-art, energy-efficient plastic injection molding machines. With a machine clamping force of between 50 and 420 tons, we are able to produce a wide range of plastic parts from 0.5 g to 2000 g. Among other things, HEKUPLAST produces technical molded parts, parts for household appliances and household goods.

Certification

The high production and quality standards of our company make us a reliable partner for all customers looking for a dependable supplier for their new projects. We have been certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV for many years. Our customers can rely on efficient resource planning, competent parts injection molding, delivery reliability and a strong understanding of service.

OEM products and assembly of components

The trust our customers place in us means that we produce products for well-known European brands under their own brand label as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). We handle the assembly of components and component groups efficiently and cost-effectively. Thanks to coordinated warehouse management, we supply you with plastic parts and assemblies exactly when you need them - worldwide.

Injection moulding process

1. Plasticising by heating:  The plastic granulate undergoes a transformative process where it is gradually softened and liquefied through the application of both frictional forces and intense heat. This intricate fusion mechanism allows the individual granules to meld together, forming a molten state that is essential for the subsequent stages of the manufacturing process.

2. Injection: The molten plastic, now in a fluid state due to the heating process, is forcefully injected into the tightly sealed mould at significant pressure. This pressurized injection ensures that the liquid plastic fills every intricate detail and cavity of the mould with precision, resulting in a flawless and accurately shaped final product.

3. Holding pressure phase: To mitigate the effects of shrinkage as the cooling process takes place, additional pressure is applied to the plastic material within the mould following the initial volumetric filling. This supplementary pressing action serves to compact and densify the plastic, ensuring that any potential voids or imperfections caused by shrinkage are minimized. By exerting this extra force on the material, the final product maintains its intended shape and dimensions, resulting a high-quality plastic component.

4. Cooling phase: The injection mould undergoes a meticulous cooling process, where water is circulated within the mould to rapidly extract heat from the molten plastic. This internal cooling mechanism effectively lowers the temperature of the plastic material.

5. Demoulding: Once the cooling process is complete and the plastic material has solidified to the desired state, the mold opens carefully. When the mold releases, the molded plastic part inside will appear.
